Lyn Lormer

I have just started at LCSA as the Senior Project Officer and am very happy to be working with Neighbourhood Centres across NSW. I started my career working as the Coordinator of Riverwood Community Centre and then worked at LCSA during the late 80’s. After a stint in the Department of Community Services working on the development of the CSGP, I worked in aged and disability services on the North Shore and women’s health in the Inner West before returning to the Department part time as a CPO in Sydney south west and inner west areas. Most recently I have worked in the disability sector at the Multicultural Disability Advocacy Association. I am interested in assisting Neighbourhood Centres to be a central part of their local communities, encouraging participation, creating networks and working for social justice issues that improve the lives of their members and other local residents.
