Since 2011, LCSA has worked with a consultant and our members on a Policy Development Project (PDP) to create and update a suite of Policy and Procedure documents that are relevant for Not-For-Profit community organisations to purchase, download and edit to meet their needs.

When you purchase the LCSA Policies, you gain access to the original documents developed in 2011 (updated in 2013), while automatically having access to the all the latest policies that were released in 2018 and updated and expanded on 30 June 2022.

LCSA Members who wish to access the policies for the first time, the initial buy-in price is $2,200 (+GST) (includes access all policy documents).

Non-LCSA Members who wish to access the policies for the first time, the initial buy-in price is $4,400 (+GST) (includes access all policy documents).

While LCSA considers the above costs cheap, in comparison to what an individual organisation would have to pay a consultant for a similar set of policies, we are aware that some services with small amounts of funding may find this difficult. Therefore, on a case-by-case basis, LCSA is willing to negotiate a price that is meaningful and affordable based on your circumstances, or make certain sections or individual policies available to you at a smaller cost. Note: Once you've paid for the initial buy-in price for the policies, if you wish to access ongoing policy updates in the future as they are released, this may incur an extra charge to cover the costs.

The LCSA Policies and Procedures provide useful information only and organisations are advised to seek independent advice before adapting and adopting these documents.

All policies are developed so they are applicable to the most number of Not-For-Profit Community Organisations as possible and are therefore generic and do not contain policies you may need for specific target groups or programs (e.g. youth, or aged care).

If your organisation notice any policy gaps or a statement that does not adhere to current standards, please inform LCSA so it can be updated as quickly as possible.
